Diamond Polishing

Diamond polishing is a Bales specialty and is the first choice for establishing and maintaining highly polished surfaces with attention to detail. An SPI A-1 diamond finish produces the finest finish on visible or lens quality parts.

Dry Blasting

This process uses various blasting media to prepare and enhance surfaces for a variety of finishes and coatings.

Liquid Honing

This process uses ultra fine media to clean intricate parts without compromising dimension or part detail. Liquid honing creates a fine satin finish by directing an air-ejected liquid abrasive chemical emulsion against the surface.

Vapor Degreasing

Vapor degreasing is a cleaning process that has been used for many degreasing applications over the years. This process uses solvents and chemicals to clean and degrease parts through vapor immersion, lowering labor and handling costs.

Electrolytic Cleaning

This process uses a caustic-based cleaning solution to eliminate surface grease, RDM oil, cutting fluids, rust inhibitors and organics. It works well on irregular shapes.

Pickling

The pickling process uses acid based chemicals to remove scale, rust and discoloration from your mold, tool or component. This is often used for surface preparation prior to plating or coating as well as dry blasting.
